In this triangle we are given the hypotenuse and an angle. We want to find the side opposite to the angle. This means we are working with hypotenuse and opposite side. Our SOH CAH TOA indicates that we have to use SOH, or sine.
1. Determine what trigonometry ratio to use (cosine in this case)
2. Insert the measurements in the known equation
3. Rearrange the equation.
4. Solve for x by using the Sin button on your calculator.
